How To Set Up a Phishing Exercise 2.0

Here you will know how to set up, customize, archive, and delete Phishing Exercise 2.0. Also, the report feature is described.

How To Set Up Phishing Exercise 

Note:
  • If you have an active Phishing Exercise campaign(old version), you won’t be able to set up Phishing Exercise 2.0. To do that, you need to end the current Phishing Exercise campaign.
  • If you had the Phishing Exercise old version campaign, the old version reports will be presented in the Reports section => Phishing Exercise Legacy.
  1. Go to Admin Console => Training => Phishing Exercise 2.0, or open this page.


  2. Choose the Template Pack, or create a custom pack. In each pack, the templates are organized by difficulty level and specific theme.
  3. Preview the templates by clicking on them or the three-dot menu, or in the middle of the template card.
  4. Click Next to go to the Settings.

By editing a preselected pack of templates, if templates are changed, the template pack for the exercise campaign will be configured as custom.



5. Click Edit if you want to remove or add templates. Sort templates by 'Last Modified' or   'Name'. Search template by name or by keyword. Clear the template selection by clicking the "X" button. Click Next to move to the Settings.


6. Select the Auditory. All Users - the task will be assigned to all users, and each newly added user. Departments - to the selected departments and assigned users. Groups - to the selected groups and assigned users. More departments and groups can be added after the task is set up. Specific Users - only these users will be assigned to the task. More users can be added after the task is set up.

7. Customize the User Notification. Turn it On or Off, edit the subject and message. Select Days to complete. Check the Weekly Reminders settings for Phishing Exercise by clicking Reminder Settings or clicking this link. Check the article Email Notifications Types and Reminders Customization for more information. Choose the Start Date and click Next.
Edit the Campaign Name. Check the campaign settings and click Launch Exercise.

8. Done! Notifications will be sent immediately to the assigned users.

Create Groups and assign different Phishing Exercises to them!

How to Archive and Delete Phishing Exercise

1. Go to Active campaigns and click the three-dot menu. Select Archive Campaign. Confirm the action. The campaign will be shown in the Archived campaigns. 

The Archived campaign cannot be restored!

2. Go to Archived campaigns and click the three-dot menu. Select Archive Campaign. Confirm the action. The campaign will be deleted permanently.

Save reports before deleting a campaign!

 

Phishing Exercise Reports

  1. Go to Active OR Archived campaigns and click the three-dot menu. Select Report.

  2.  View and filter the data, and Export CSV by clicking the orange button.
  3. Get the report for Phishing Exercise 2.0 for the campaign level on the side menu Reporting => Reports.  Open a card there for Phishing Exercise 2.0. This report displays all started active and archived campaigns. Drill in from this report to get a more detailed report for a specific campaign and see the details by users or by template data.
